Who would have you dropped?

I'm just curious, because I don't think I could have dropped my own son over a cliff. Especially since one of your kids was already dead. I wouldn't have been able to do it. I don't care how evil he was I would have saved Macaulay.
What about you?

I would have dropped Henry. If I found out I had a son like him, he would be dead to me anyway.
And there was no fixing him, no changing him. Henry was evil, he may not have chosen to be a sociopath & a psychopath, but he chose his actions.

Mark was a good boy, a caring boy. He didn't enjoy killing people and laughing while they wept.

Thanks to the magic of motion pictures, we now know what would have happened if she hadn't dropped Henry.

He'd just grow up to be a Party Monster!

I think Susan knew that if she had dropped Mark, Mark's father would've killed her.

any mother who would've dropped Mark instead of Henry deserves to be kicked in her vag. seriously it doesnt matter if its your own son, you were saving a murdered who was probably gonna kill you and more people, and on top of that you were gonna became a murderer yourself, by killing an innocent little boy.

It's a really tough question. I mean yes he was evil, but he would be my own flesh and blood and there would be a part of me hoping that would be able to get him some help.

I don’t think she “chose" between the boys as much she chose to save Henry from a lifetime in a psychiatric jail.

Oh, I forgot. I would have pulled Henry up and then kicked him over the cliff again.

A scary thought is is Susan did chose to save Henry instead of Mark. Immediately he would have shoved her back over.

Thats a good point. Henry would have been alive, but in the best case senario he's locked up for the rest of his life. Not much worth saving about that.
Though I do think most normal mothers would instinctively want to save their child, no matter what they'd done.

Why choose?

I lift free weights four days a week.

Pull them both up.

Henry would be dropped and I'd spit on his dead body, son or not.
