The first strawberry-eating scene
Why didn't Max get sick the first time he ate the strawberries? If he still had the allergy, which was later proven, that scene doesn't make sense.
shareI think the strawberries didn't affect him the first time because he was pumped with adrenaline. Although he appeared very calm it seemed obvious he felt invincible. As time went on his adrenaline levels came back to normal so the strawberries became almost lethal.
This was a terrific movie with Jeff Bridge's great performance, Maurice Jarre's music and Peter Weir's direction.
