holy *beep* the entire time i was watching i couldn't stop thinking about how alike they look. they could be brothers.

I agree, there is one angle in particular where they are nearly indistinguishable.

Before watching it I had assumed the title was reference to a serial killer with paedophilic tendencies. I.e. someone who shaves his victims so they're 'clean' like children.

After watching it, I think the words are about the main character himself.

I thought the same thing. But as Peter Greene has aged, he has begun to look less and less like Murphy.

No, Cillian Murphy looks like a young Peter Greene. As Cillian Murphy gets older he'll look less like a young Peter Greene ;)

Cillian Murphy must have very common looks, I have read several comparisons to him with different people.
