Scully's awkard hug for Mulder in the season finale of Season 5

Am I the only one that thinks that Scully's hug or whatever for Mulder at the end of Season 5 was a little weird or awkward?

a little office area like that meant something to Mulder and yet Scully acted more like a stiff robot to try to comfort Mulder
