In terms of what actually made it into the show, you may have a point. But it was still basically just the B plot/story to Day Of The Dead. The main story was pretty much filler, but it was entertaining.

No juicy revenge for Garibaldy against Bestor. We should have got a sweet sweet revenge kill instead of the luke-warm resolution we did get.
