Brisco obviously rules over all the other character, but aside from him

my favorite has to be comet. whenever theres a knock on the door inside the hotel, who else could it be! haha. the chemestry between comet and brisco was just mindblowing. you could SEE when comet was mad at brisco or was trying to tell him something. it was like he really didnt know he was a horse.

Hello, BahRISco.
Pete again would come second. he seemed like such an idiot, but he had incredibly intellegent lines. like when he was gunna push the boulder down the hill at brisco and bowler and they leave and it starts rolling at him.. i cant remember exactly what he said but hes like. "no you oversized peice of sedamentry volcanic something something" he was so good.

and BLY! holy, bly was the most evil SOB. amazing acting. he scared the hell outta me.

Those two are the heart and soul of the show. Among the others, Pete Hutter is the most entertaining, while Dixie is easiest on the eyes.

Coincidence ... or conspiracy? You decide!

All the characters were memorable, but Pete and Comet were the best. Pete made every episode just a little bit better, and I loved the dueling banjos with Viva. Tell me that wasn't priceless!

Comet had the best lines.....

"Did Doogie Houser just steal my f@#$ing car?"

Bruce Campbell was the reason I watched this show. He was born to play "Brisco". I noticed John Pyper-Ferguson playing Pete Hutter in the pilot, an actor I'd never seen before, and he's my other favourite character. I know Pete was a bit stupid, but John was so good playing him. The fuss he'd make over "pete's piece" was hilarious. He's become one of my favourite actors now. I'm just glad they brought him back from the dead to be in more episodes. I don't know how many times I've watched "Stagecoach".

Such a great series and should've been given the chance to continue.
Why did they have to choose between the "X-Files" and "Brisco"? They were both great shows and "Brisco" would've made a wonderful contrast. I guess we should be lucky "Brisco" got a whole season, as some shows today only get half a season before they're cancelled. New shows are not given enough time to find an audience, and are expected to be instant hits which is so unfair.

I used to watch this as a kid, I used to think long legged, bright eyed Dixie was the hottest thing since sliced bread, especially with that over the top Mae West drawl goin on...

You know what, Kelly Rutherford is still quite a looker....

This is a question with no real wrong answer. I think Pete was/is my fav character who's name doesn't rhyme with Crisco. Pete just had waaay to many funny lines. Same with Bowler, although his humor was more in the faces he's make at some of Brisco's crazy outside the box plans and ideas. No one ever made "Huh?" funnier. I liked John Astin as Prof Wickwire as well. I could go on and on. Oh wait... The Swills.

No doubt Dixie was quite a fine looking lady, but I gotta admit Dolly Cousins was just a bit more to me.

Obviously, you think of Brisco and Bowler first, but of the secondary characters, no question, Sheriff Aaron Viva!

Brisco by far!

Brisco, then Pete Hutter.

Brisco is probably my favorite character, but I ended up loving all of them by the end of the series.

Second to Brisco was probably Pete Hutter. Pretty much anytime he opened his mouth I was laughing hysterically.

Socrates and his gambling addiction, anytime Bowler was angry or Brisco talked to his horse. I love offbeat humor like that. It's a shame the show only had 1 season. Full House had like 7 and that was a steaming pile of poo. And this is when tv was still pretty good. I can't even watch tv anymore it's so embarrassingly awful. And if it's not a horrible reality show, it's a really snore inducing ultra realistic cop/lawyer/medical drama. Whatever happened to tv having a sense of adventure?

Pete! My piece!
