I get the point of the character and the actor did a great job, but I couldn't stand him during the shootout at the rocks. "Did you get him?" over and over again.
shareThat's whole point, the kid idolised the legend of the gunfighter, and knew that's what he wanted to be. Then realism kicked, the actual killing and the ones doing the killing, it wasn't as glamourous or exciting as he'd expected. And it turned out that the Kid didn't have the stomach for it either.
