Poor casting choice of Val Kilmer

Don't misunderstand, I'm not saying he didn't act the part well...however, with all of the jokes about his obvious Indian looks, he doesn't seem to have ANY Indian blood at all! Couldn't they have cast someone who actually looked the part? For example, wouldn't it have made more sense to cast someone like Lou Diamond Phillips in his place?

Well if Val Kilmer has any Native American Blood in him or not. He was still great in the role.

Yeah, even if Kilmer didn't look like he had any native blood in him (he does in my eyes), he was so great in the role that I can't imagine anyone improving on it.
