I think so, but I could easily see how someone other than Kevin Bacon might not agree. She has hard features - a pretty wicked chin, and what's up with that mouth? But I love her curly hair, and her face lights up when she smiles.

If she did something with her teeth and smoothed out those eyebrows I don't think she wouldn't get labeled unattractive in the movie.
shareNo, she's not (IMO). She is the one thing I would change about this movie, actually. I am sure at least some of my distaste is because of the character. It's an unfortunate combination of a pathetic, unlikable character and a rather unappealing actress. =/

Guess I'm in the minority here but thought she was fairly adorable in this. Similar to how she looked in "Born of the 4th of July".

Agree. The film would have been better if the role were cast differently. She has bad teeth as well. I always thought of her as an 80s actress anyhow.
