Alternate ending?

There are a few things that lead me to suspect there was a different ending originally.

Allie cradling Heddy’s corpse in the elevator as people look on suggests there was a parting exchange. It’s weird how Heddy slumps to the floor after Allie’s double-backstab and then we abruptly cut to the rushed monologue ending.

I think the film could have used a ‘goodbye’ moment, instead Heddy goes down like a stuck pig and credits roll (more or less)

Secondly, isn’t it weird how we don’t see Graham’s face during his big rescue moment? We glimpse ‘him’ move in the bathroom and then he’s covered in shadow while he’s battling Heddy, he doesn’t say anything and we don’t see him again or learn what became of him. Smells like a potential reshoot - maybe he died in the original script and it didn’t test well.

Any thoughts on the ending?
