That dog scene made me so sick

I sooo wanted to throw Heddy out the window when I saw that scene. I mean, to kill an innocent puppy because it wanted to go with Allie? I mean, Heddy set it up so that Buddy would like and go to Allie first, by ignoring it and waiting for Allie to come out and hold it. So Allie would let it stay.

So naturally the dog would go to her. I know its just a film, but animal cruelty scenes bother me a lot.

Well, but as puppies go, it was really pretty annoying.

Not annoying enough to merit defenestration, maybe, but pretty darned annoying.

violence and murder against the defenseless always makes me sick...the only scenes that really disturb me is violence against children and animals. When human adults get completely slaughtered in a movie it doesnt bother me so much..guess i am sick lol

LMAO!!! Thats hilarious!

I know exactly what you mean. To be honest I have no problem watching an adult get their head chopped off (I love scary gory movies) but watching an animal get hurt in ANY way I just cry!!

I knew that poor puppy was going to end up dead but I had a yellow Labrador who died nearly 2 years ago (not in that way though!) and that scene nearly made me shed a tear (and I'm a guy)

yeah. i'm glad they didn't show too much i could look away and remind myself that no dog actually died.. Allie should have got out immediately after that, dogs don't fall out of windows.

I'm exactly the same in I couldn't give a toss when watching violence happen to humans in Films but animal cruelty in films I feel sick. It's like the same with newspaper headlines I can't read any sort of animal cruelty stories otherwise it would be in my mind for days. Anyone that thinks me and anyone is wrong for feeling this then *beep* you!!!! If anyone is heartless it's you guys.

Same reaction here. You have my empathy cos I felt awful after watching that scene. Stopped the movie to see if there were any others who felt the same way. Thanks for posting & ignore the animal hater losers who have posted.

I got upset watching that scene too, I've had dogs most of my life, and it shocks me to no end how cruel people can be.
