Question about Pink's sentence (hypothetical)

Okay, some people think Pink got shot some people think he escaped clean, but let's just assume the most likely scenario is he got picked up by the police as soon as he leaves the warehouse.

Here's a hypothetical question I've been wondering.

The police know they got the diamonds. But Pink stashed them. Now Pink doesn't have to tell the police where they are - or even that he knows where they are. He can deny that all day.

He goes to prison (okay he shot a bunch of police so chances are he wouldnt be getting out anyway, but lets say he gets given a 20 year sentence, serves ten and gets out free)

Pink is now free to claim the diamonds. Maybe that would even justify a sentence.

However, would the fact that the police believe he knows where the diamonds are weigh in on his sentence? They probably KNOW he's gonna get out and go get his diamonds and therefore WIN - so would that have any baring on a court case?

Any thoughts?

The cops got the diamonds. That's what Pink, Eddie, and White came back with when they found Blonde dead.

You can see before he leaves the warehouse, after everyone's been shot, Pink grabs the satchel.

Pink can't deny not knowing where they are because they're in his hands.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.

Pink would get the death penalty, with or without the diamonds (he walked out with them btw).

We're talking about a massive shootout that left multiple civilians and police officers dead. Knowing the location to a satchel full of diamonds isn't going to help him in that scenario.

You could argue that his shootout with the cops alone was more than enough to put him away for life.

I agree. Also, that's a sadistic name/avatar. Now I'll have that phrase stuck in my head all day...!

Mr. Pink would be charged with felony murder, and if convicted, sentenced to life in California (in other states he'd either get life or the death penalty). Even if he hadn't shot anybody. He was a co-conspirator in a felony that left several people dead.

I'd imagine that the diamonds would have been insured, so whether or not he tells the cops where they are doesn't really matter, he'd still get the death sentence or at least life in prison. In fact I don't think it would even get that far in the first place, Mr. Pink was majorly screwed either way.

Pink was apprehended, you can hear it as White goes to comfort Orange after they've both been shot, Pink clearly gives himself up and he has the diamonds. There is no way he is getting anything less than life in prison. Even Saul Goodman couldn't get him off.

In the end the cops won.
