They the producers of this film hire a body double for Drew Barrymore for the sex scenes, do to the fact that she was 16 during the filming of this movie?
Just a thought. Any opinions?

She was emancipated at the time, but I'm still uncertain if the sexual behavior in which her character Ivy engages would be considered child pornography. I'd say she definitely had a body double, though; you can tell it's not her body.

It was stated at the time of release that a body double was used.

That was mentioned in quite a few press releases at the time.
