Did Adam Banks owe the Ducks an apology?

Not for whooping them in the first game, that's just the nature of the sport and apparently within their league's regulations. Didn't Adam owe them an apology for bullying them? We only saw it happen off the ice that one time, but it might have occurred more than once.

Kids will be Kids. I don't think Jessie for example was interested in the bullying as much as Banks was a Hawk pure and simple. He was made to pay for past sins through his alienation by the Ducks.

In that scene you have Banks, Larsen and McGill:

Banks wasn't the key man in the Hawks' bullying of the Ducks. That was McGill, he was the nasty piece of work in the Hawks team. We saw this when he took out Banks in the final game without hesitation or regret.

Banks and Larsen probably went along with him for a while because they figured it would be better to stay on the side of the bully, than risk being bullied themselves. But they themselves weren't bad guys, we saw that Larsen wasn't keen on the idea of taking Banks out of the game when Reilly gave the order. And he was genuinely concerned when Banks was lying unconscious on the ice.

all of which is sadly undone early on in the sequel when Larsen once again joins in with McGill in his attempts to sabotage the ducks. Such a pointless cameo appearance, especially since they both look about 16 at this point and you'd think they'd have better things to do!
Then again a lot of things about this movie's ending get ruined early in the sequel

I think when you watch the movie casually, Banks doesn’t stand out in that scene, and it’s easy to forget he is even there unless you’ve seen the movie multiple times. I used to be on Banks side, and I thought Jesse was unreasonable in his reaction. But I get it now. They could’ve done more to address it. But the movie has too many characters
