One of the saddest, most depressing moments I've ever seen in a movie SPOILERS

Leolo's brother Fernand is beaten by a hoodlum. He then spends a whole year building himself into a huge muscleman through diet and exercise and seems to gain great confidence. Finally, he and Leolo encounter the bully again and once more, despite being 3 times as big and strong as the bully, poor Fernand gets his nose broken once again and lies in the alley weeping like a little child while Leolo tries to comfort him. Leolo muses: "That day, I understood that fear lived in our deepest being."
