great all round comedy

To have these two comic masters, Hawn and Martin, who play off each other so well, and co-stars like Harris and Moffit, and a beautiful setting, and then a director like Frank Oz, you know you can just lean back, relax and enjoy it.
It's like "What About Bob?" another of Oz's comic masterpieces. No matter how many times I've seen them, if I happen to come on it in progress on the TV, I have to watch it until the end.

the swedish title for this is much funnier i find, "freeloader", translating there of course. when martin and hawn is walking at night on the city street it reminded of a similar scene in the awful 1999 remake of "the out-of-towners", just think if they had made a sequel to this instead, in that scene in this movie is the funny bit when hawn looks inside martin's wallet and says "you could go to jail for this" and martin explains it's a photo of his childhood sweetheart becky when she was in the sixth grade, but the funniest part is who hawn gets to play her parents and their encounters during the crowded house at the end, one line that surprised me was when there is a woman present and being referred to as "you guys", i thought that was a new thing that women are being called guys, like people have begun to start every sentence when answering with "so," goodness that sounds rude and obnoxious, or pronounce women "woman", hehe, how about that, another funny scene was when martin walks into his own house and hawn occupying it says "what are you doing here?". notice there is only one curse word in this movie being used (the other word for crap.), without the screwing scene between becky and newton in the fireplace this would have been a very family friendly movie. overall what a pleasant flick, i watch it whenever it airs.

your glare burn me to a crisp,
scare the living daylights out of me,
foggy around,
hit by your strike,
thought i was in a rot,
then you put on charm offensive and build me back up.
