Steve's (Barry's) hair in the pilot 'A Diagnosis of Murder' (1992)

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but rewatching the pilot episode now and have noticed that Barry's hair is actually salt and pepper grey rather than the chestnut brown/blond colour of the main series - and rather nice he looks too like that! But obviously the powers-that-be decided that Barry's naturally greying colour wasn't attractive enough once the pilot got picked up to be a series!
