so i'm a big fan of the movie but have never actually watched the tv show. I was just wondering if people who like the movie usually like the show. basically, for someone who likes the movie is it worth watching or will it just ruin everything?
shareI'd say parts of it are worth it. There's quite a bit of it that isn't very good (I could do away with much of seasons 1 and 4-7 and not shed a tear), but the stuff that is good is *beep* great.

Well the movie is a fun silly comedy, while the series is probably the best tv show ever made. So rich and powerful that it's still talked about all the time, 12 years after it ended.

The movie is fun (if changed a lot from Joss's original vision). But the show is exceptional. One of the best TV shows ever made
