Theories about the fudge

Does anyone else have a theory or assumption or guess about why the fudge (in "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge") had those effects on Jamie -- increasing her libido and suppressing her morning sickness? I kept thinking that a certain explanation would be revealed at the end of the episode, but none was ever given.
