Tale of the Midnight Ride, because I loved Legend of Sleepy Hollow as a kid

Tale of the Quiet Librarian, it's just so freaky as hell

Tale of Old Man Corcoran, it just has a classic episode feel to it

Tale of Room 214, VERY creepy as a kid during the big revelation

Tale of the Room For Rent, again, VERY creepy

I love all of those except for "Old Man Cocoran" - That one is one of my least favorites.

The one that scared me the most, was the story about this boy that either found or stole some sunglasses but everytime he puts on the glasses he see these creepy people dressed in black. I dont remember the name of this episode but it creeped me out as a youngster watching this show lol

@Tampa: it was the Tale of the Super Specs. The main guy accidentally cast a successful spell on a bunch of them and ended up buying a pair. Everytime his girlfriend put them on, she'd see people covered in black. I enjoyed that episode because of the ending.

Tale of the Midnight Ride-- I love the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and this was a good updating on it.

Tale of the Twisted Claw-- It's nostalgic because it's the first episode I saw and got me hooked on the show. Also, it's seriously the best adaptation of the Monkey's Paw I've ever seen.

Tale of the Dream Girl-- just a very good episode with good acting, characters, and a nice twist ending.

Tale of the Forever Game-- a good reboot to the show.

Tale of the Silver Sight-- a lot of fun seeing Gary back working w/ the new Midnight Society. It was quite interesting and had the feel of series finale. It would have been a fitting end to a good show.

Tale of the Quicksilver-- genuinely eerie and scary.

I have others but those are at the top of my list and the ones that always stand out after all these years.

My favorite episodes are:

The Tale of the Doll Maker: A girl visits her grandparents house and discovers her friend is missing; she is trapped in a dollhouse! Really good episode from season 3. And...

The Tale of the Watcher's Woods: The woods in the dark is scary enough especially when there is a ghost involved!!! It's another creepy episode from season 3!!! :)

Hard to narrow down but:
1. Tale of the Midnight Madness- the show at it's best, Vink chewing the scenery, and a charming young cast make this one shine
2. Tale of the Super Specs- a great mix of creepy and fun, the alternate dimension story still is intriguing, plus Sardo doin what he does best!
3. Tale of the Prom Queen- tropey, spooky, and classic. Has an urban legend feel to it
4. Tale of the Dead Man's Float- tremendous episode, awesome pool ghoul at the end, with some funny lines ("I found this when I was trying to calculate the volume of the school")
5. The Tale of Cutter's Treasure- An epic nautical two-parter, Vink and Sardo BOTH tearing the house down, and Charles Dutton matching their hammy performances as an undead pirate!

6. Tale of the Guardian's Curse- If you wanna see Bobby Budnick kick some mummy ass, gimme a hell yeah!
7. Tale of the Night Shift- Now this one pushed the limits of kids tv- The finish has a hideous vampire lit on fire and fall off a building, you gotta be kidding me!
8. Tale of the Door Unlocked- more delightful Sardo antics, fun little romp
9. Tale of the Silent Servant- a scarecrow on the move, always a good spooky time
10. The Tale of Locker 22- this one stayed with me and I always thought of it during my many hours of lab time in high school and college

Honorable mentions:
Tale of the Dangerous Soup- Neve Campbell looking as only she could look, and another brilliant showing by Aron Tager as the good Dr. Vink
Unfinished Painting- Jewel Staite is fantastic here
Tale of the Dark Music- probably the grimmest and the one that scared me the most as a kid, that entity in the basement chilled me

The list could go on and on! So many classics and I didn't even mention some of the iconic eps like Laughing in the Dark, Twisted Claw, the Quicksilver, and more!
