And I've seen many crap movies.
I've seen The Blood Beast Terror. Peter Cushing (a very fine actor who made many bad films) claimed this is the worst film he ever made.
Donald Pleasence never turned down work and made some real stinkers. According to the IMDB the worst film he made was Warrior of the Lost World, which I've also seen.
But neither comes close to Whore for its sheer, jaw-dropping awfulness.
This is an atrocious film.
Exactly why do you think it's so bad? It would help if you would give some specific reasons.

The acting, the direction, the dialogue, the story, the production values, pretty much everything that helps make an effective film.
The line: 'Goddamn motherf ucking sh it' will probably stay with me until my dying day.
The opening song that goes 'I want to bang her, I want to bang her...' doesn't help either especially when Russell claims to be making some serious comment with this film.
Theresa Russell's acting is awful...and I mean really awful. That's why I didn't like it.

shareI thought her acting was exactly right for the role she was playing, which was a lower class, uneducated woman who was basically decent, not very bright and fell into that life for what at first looked like easy money.
At first the movie came across as comic-booky and simplistic, but by the end, the overall effect was a very powerful journey into a brutal, dangerous world. This movie pulled no punches and took no prisoners.
I think it took a lot of guts for Theresa Russell to take on this role and to dive into it unflinchingly. I thought she was excellent and exciting. She's also very sexy.

Theresa's performance was perfect for this type of movie. I hope people don't think that this movie is and follows the typical Hollywood movie structure. It was meant to be like a satire and semi-documentary type movie.
No expectations, no disappointments.
