That was a horrible way to end the movie

That's it? They committed suicide? The end? What happened to their bodies after they drove off the cliff? I know, their bodies became mangled because they decided to drive off a cliff. Not a good decision. That was terrible outcome for Thelma and Louise. Wasn't there a better option for the ladies? Couldn't Ridley Scott have come up with a better ending for Thelma and Louise?

It’s the ultimate feminist movie where the women hate all the men and prefer to end up together eternally flying off the cliff than ever end up happily ever after with a man.

But they wouldn't eternally fly off the cliff. Their car would rapidly start to descend to the bottom of the cliff and their bodies would become mangled. I'm quite certain that happily ever after with a good man would have been the better option for Thelma and Louise.
