Where has this franchise been all my life?

I'm a huge horror fan so the fact I only heard of these films yesterday is crazy.

Very under the radar. The fact they're US/Romanian collaberations, direct-to-video and from the 90s (a decade that gets less attention and adoration than the 70s & 80s) plays a part I'm sure.

Same here. I’m a huge vampire / horror fan. I never heard of this series until this week. I just saw this movie today. It isn’t perfect: there’s bad acting, the romance subplot was undeveloped, and I don’t know what the deal is with that stone. But the CGI and atmosphere was good, the villain looked cool, and the horror was well done. I liked it
