FINALLY!! I Have TWO Mirage tracks (links inside!!!!)

I dunno why I never bothered to check the IMDB about this movie before??

I thought I was possible the only person EVER who wanted these tracks so badly.. I first saw the movie when I was 11 and I just loved the music throughout. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I just got the DVD - the first thing I did? ripped whatever tracks I could.

Now, I could rip "Standing In The Rain" & "Rise On My Own" PERFECTLY because during the movie, there is no cast dialogue over the music. I have linked these two tracks below :o)!!

UPDATE!! - August 2nd, 2009 (three years on and still going - both links still alive and over 250 downloads!!)

Thanks a bunch man. I just double clicked the clink and downloaded both the songs. These songs bring me back to my early basketball playing days where I dreamed of playing varsity basketball and getting the head cheerleader. The dream died but thanks to you the soundtrack never will. Cheers.

Ian if you could rip "We Are The Dreamers" and "Don't Look Down" meaby I or my friend could do something with other audio. There are some programs to edit mp3. I cant share from Megaupload , yousendit was ok :)

Ian,

Thanks a million. I originally cherished this movie as key tool as a dad and youth basketball coach. It was funny, these songs seemed to mean more to me more than any of the kids. There's something about these songs that captures a very personal dream of rising to excellence and the private effort that's involved. They're on my MP3 player now for working out and running, as I "Rise on my own" at my own level. Thanks again!

Oh my goodness! I saw and fell in love with this movie back in 91 when it was released, and then somewhere over the years forgot about it. Until a couple nights ago, when I suddenly had a dream about the music, which was my favourite part. I decided to look up the movie to find it's proper title with the hopes that I might be able to rent it and hear thise songs again, only to find that you were here waiting for me! This is fantastic! If you could, pretty please, send them to me, too? :)
