Why wasn't Leslie Nielsen a marked man?

By good old former president George W Bush the same way Saddam Hussein was? Since he was once put on the spot either immediately before the 2nd Gulf war started, or just after it commenced. He was asked, or perhaps had it pointed out, how someone believed his dislike for Hussein was because Hussein tried having his dad assasinated. I mean, c'mon look at all of what Leslie Nielsen did to George W Bush's mother, Barbara Bush. He first knocks her to the ground by opening a door on her slamming it into her face. Then proceeds to pull a chair at the dinner table out from under her in favor of a hot woman coming his way. And she falls once again to the floor. Then I think the last thing he does to her is punches her out at the table trying to crack open a crab leg. Wouldn't you want to send the army after someone who did all that to your wife? Actually I meant mother.

He believed Frank would be a much more elusive target compared to Saddam. Besides he knew from history not to get into a two front war.
