I want to post this before I watch this movie with my girlfriend

I have a feeling this may be the first time my girlfriend watches this movie (I didn't questioned her whether she saw this movie in the cinemas as a kid). If it is her first time then I'm somewhat concern about how she will feel after Thomas J. died from the bee stings and then we see Vada crying in her bed and having to come down and see him lying in the casket

I don't want to spoil the movie for her, but I would have to ask her to keep some tissues near by because she's going to need it

As her boyfriend, I will be right beside her and lean her head on my shoulder.

it's one of the saddest moments ever in a movie.

It's nice that you're concerned but it's a bit dramatic no? People cry watching sad movies all the time, if it's fiction, it's not a big deal. You also shouldn't have offered the tissue befoehand because that already indicates a spoiler ahead. Anyway, so how did it go?
