Basically we jsut point out plot holes or point that just don't make sense that are so obvious that they just make us love this movie more...

Obioulsy why didn't Riki just break the wall to begin with

The fact that in numerous scenes inmates just open there cell doors an walk out thusly securing my belief in that being the worst prison ever

When Riki was walking in the rain in the courtyard by himself (again it's a prison) and they are removing the body of the old man, Riki removes a train from his jacket that clearly was not there in the prior scence, and that was smashed in the begining.

The not so secret opium fields

Where the hell did a 40 foot curcifix come from?

The warden's explosion into a paper-mache monster

Riki's name goes from being Riki Ho in the begining to Riki Oh by the end

Riki's girlfriends suicide

my favourite plot hole is how riki ties his veins together to stop bleeding, but doesn't suffer any circulatory problems.

Is THAT what Riki was doing? I couldn't tell, I thought he was sowing his arm up with something, and I was like what? Where the hell did he get that?

Now that I know he was tying his tendons together uh, you know...makes a lot more...sense...

I have to return some videotapes.

apparently leaves create soulful tunes.
and you can still manage to play with your tongue cut out, so long as its a stick ur playing on and not a leaf.
why no one seems to understand that the gang leader is obviously a chick. what were there not enough men in china?

He could only destroy the wall at the end because he had built up his strength through the fight "it grows stronger and stronger"

How about the scene when Riki punches Tarzan's jaw off, but then he can still talk somehow? I can't believe no one has mentioned that yet.

Also, the magical "make you inflate and explode" bullets in the Warden's gun.

One thing I never got is how they received a picture of Riki's GF in the mail when she's dead in that part of the story?

I'm glad this movie has so many glaring mistakes and plot holes. It's what makes it so excellent and easy to watch for me. I can watch it all the time.
