Worst movie ever?

This has got to be one of the worst 'films' ever made. Seriously- a talking freeway sign???? WTF??? How in the hell do people actually thinks this is a good movie??

Agreed moviemaniac! The plot is certainly a bit quirky but the whole thing has a bit of a magical edge so I think it fits. Very clever jokes and witty commentary about the LA lifestyle.

I doubt that the OP has ever been to L.A. or even to Southern California. This movie is a delight for those of us familiar with the area.

Life, every now and then, behaves as though it had seen too many bad movies

Don't be silly. The sign doesn't talk.

"Worst movie ever?"

Not even close. But the question is in the top ten.

In LA people live by the FREEWAY signs. Anybody the drives on a regular basics in LA/SF VALLEY understand. No matter where you are in LA you have to take the 5, 405, 10 , and the 101. You always are hoping to avoid traffic. These Freeway signs tell you traffic conditions and ETA from one part of town to another.

I think the OP lives in a fly-over state.

Why even bother posting? Surely you would enjoy "boards" from movies that you like, instead of taking potshots here. Go on now, scoot.

Some movies are released; others sneak out.

People have a sense of humor and like magical stories.

I found it rather enjoyable and off beat at the time.

Its that man again!!

the shooting on the freeway was very poor

the kinda jazz soundtrack at times felt like a woody allen rip off

and the scene
where he over analysed the painting was an homage (rip off)
of the scene in woody allen 'manhattan' where they went on and on
about the metal brick in the art gallery
