Maybe I am just sick of the first one but I like this one better. I bet you just about every Howling fan that reads this will want to maul me beyond reconition.
shareI agree completely. It takes itself seriously but doesn't let too much mumbo jumbo turn it into a stupidity-fest. It's well acted and the story is good. I would rather they not have vampires in it, especially a were-vampire, that was just weird, and the werewolf itself was really funky looking but it made sense compared to the vamp. I always recommend this one as the stand out of the Howling series since it's one of the pair of films in the series (it's sister being Howling III) that have Werewolves as heroes instead of villains. And overall it's just a better film.

Sometimes sequels are better then the original. This is one of those sequels.

shareYes! I came on IMDb today hoping that there were more people like me who like this movie. I remember the first time I saw it - I went to someone's house and they were already watching it and I was thinking at first, "Howling 6 - why am I watching this?" and within minutes of starting to watch it, thinking, "Hey, this is pretty good!" and watched the whole thing and ending up loving it!
