Riders on The Storm
Because after listening to it i was a rock music fan!!!It was a Big Change!!!
My favorites seem to jump around all the time so I could have one favorite today and tomorrow it might be something completely opposite.
As of right now I would probably say its Wintertime Love. Only because I am learning the chords for it on the guitar. Well actually I've learned them already I just need to be able to play it faster.
The End, 20th Century Fox, Five to One, Indian Summer, and Ship of Fools are floating around near the top.
But it's too hard to answer thatt because I like every sing song The Doors did. I even like what I've heard on Other Voices. I haven't listened to Full Circle yet.
Drink up, Shoot in, Let the beatings begin.
i love all of them especially Alabama Whiskey Bar Song and Back Door Man
But overall The End (live) because of the apocalyptic intensity.
"Unhappy Girl" from the Strange Days album. It feels like he's singing about me...
"The Crystal Ship" comes in a close second.
Waiting for the Sun, Peace Frog and Tell all the People.
Love the chords of WFTS, PF just gets me in a groove and I can't quit singing out loud when I hear the last one.
The End
Amazing poetry, amazing song structure and the best climax to the finale of a song I have ever heard.
"Live Fast, Die Young and Leave a Good Looking Corpse."
"My Eyes Have Seen You"
the imagery is soo off the scale its incredible @__@
The Soft Parade
The organ in this song is crazy! I love it! You should check out the live version on Essential Rarities. I think I like that one better than the album version. "All our lives we sweat and save, building for a shallow grave."
People are Strange and Break On Through.
If I have to give my life you can have it we are the pulse of the maggots!
Shaman's Blues- awesome lyrics and riff...all-around great
Wild Child- once again, lyrics rock, the guitar is fantastic
When the Music's Over- I find this one to be really profound and like it more than The End
Roadhouse Blues- fun fun fun
Five to One- dark, foreboding, awesome lyrics, almost seems devoid of music and yet it's so wonderful
I could go on, but 5 should do it.
