A Jewish view on afterlife

This movie presents the view on "heaven" and "hell" from the Judaism perspective. For Jews, what Christians would call "hell" is not devils with pitchforks, but a dead soul looking back on his/her life and feeling remorse and regret for the things it should have or should not have done during life. This period of "hell" is brief, 12 months of so, because eventually after having understood the fallacy of its ways, the soul can proceed to "heaven". And heaven, unlike in Christianity, isn't about lush garden filled with angels, but souls being "close to God." This is basically what the movie is about.
