AMAZON just sent me CAPE FEAR & RED DRAGON on Blu Ray, both of which I'm going to watch tonight.. I genuinely enjoy Edward Norton who's not see often these days and Deniro is Deniro.. I've been on the Robert Deniro world tour of movies lately.. Today, I watched "The FAN" with Wesley Snipes and Bobby D from 1991.. Then I watched CASINO from 1995 and finally "RONIN" which was such a stellar cast and Excellent car chases.. Director John Frankenheimer stated he insisted on Deniro being in the title role, though I think Jean Reno would've been a more appropriate fit, but whatever..

Almost everyone who has seen it likes it, but they still have to be reminded that it exists. And The title is often not enough. And in some rare cases, even De Niro fans have not seen it.

Regardless of a decent IMDB rating, it just doesn't get a lot of attention for a De Niro/Scorsese movie. Currently, there are more than 20 De Niro movies with more votes on IMDb, including several that were made earlier than Cape Fear.
