It seems like a good time for a follow-up series.... on the 30th anniversary of the show?

Why not? Some of the characters are too "big" now to be in this. However, many who are still around and acting could play the same characters if it takes places 30 years after their original performances. The ages would be fine.

Just imagine how interesting it could be! What they'd done. Who's still a nun. Who might not be.

And of course a story line about some new novitiates entering.....

Guess the stumbling block would be budget. If it takes places 30 years later, it would be the 1990s...and period shows are SO expensive...

Come on ABC....go for it!
