I was just watching yesterday's episode with Blossom & Six camping out for concert tickets (use to do that too)for C & C Factory, and they came on at the end of the episode and end up dancing with them at the ticket place. AND ALSO when Blossom is doing a Happy B-day video to her mom, Salt n Pepper come to the house to buy a jacket at their yard sale and she get's them to sing/dance on the video!

And Karyn Parsons who played Hilary on The Fresh Prince was on that episode where she hurts her ankle and Anthony is bandaging it up & she asks Anthony to be a bachelor for her charity.

reply

I like the C&C Music Factory I was and still love that group. Music back then was so fun and amazing.

reply

much more appropriate than salt n pepa.

OH THANK YOU GOD! THANK YOU SO BLOODY MUCH!!! Basil Fawlty

Not only did she play Hilary on The Fresh Prince, she also played Hilary on that same episode. She had the same name, and Anthony even calls her "that rich girl from Bel-Air." At the time, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Blossom aired consecutively starting at 8:00 on Mondays. NBC even called it The Fresh Prince/Blossom hour.

The C & C Music Factory episode, which I watched about an hour ago, also guest starred Leah Remini as Anthony's ambulance partner and Debra Jo Rupp as a woman who hires Joey to babysit her 10-month-old baby. The funny thing is, CCMF was a lot more famous then than they are now.

David Schwimmer came out as Six's boyfriend who was 10 years older. He was talking like Frankie from Boy Meets World. It got a little irritating, but it was kind of funny.

Six also dated Jonathan Brandis, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and James Marsden.

Blossom dated Stephen Dorff, Justin Whalen played 3 different guys, and others who were popular in the nineties.

And I noticed a lot of 90210 crossovers, not any of the main cast, but Dylan's mom, Steve's mom, David's BFF Scott, David Lascher came out on 90210, AJ Langer (Rayanne from My So-Called Life(Brian Krakow also made an appearance)), Tiffani Thiesson. I guess these guys came out on all the shows in the nineties. But I'm binge watching this so these are just the ones I've noticed. It also seems that Blossom is kind of a sitcom version of 90210.

reply

LOL....Blossom does have that BH90210 feel especially between Six and Blossom and the way they talked about boys and dressed...reminded me of Kelly, Donna, and Brenda. The guys like Joey and Anthony reminded me of Brandon and Dylan.

reply

haha yeah blossom does seem like a sitcom 90210. specially with all the drama

reply

er... actually david lascher came out in acting on HEY DUDE! a nickelodeon on site sitcom show.

that show ended just when blossom was beginning. and he was on blossom a couple of years later.

He came out on a few episodes of 90210. I think he was gay and he was going out with Kelly so no one would find out.

reply

I wrote INTO ACTING. but I had a feeling that that's what you meant by coming out.

but that is weird that a lot of people from bh90210... donna's mother is his mother, that was the weirdest for me. is she offering 10 grand to blossom in exchange for leaving him??

I saw that episode too with the lady that played Donna mother. She was Vinnie mom, they weren't on the show but in two episodes Luke and Jason name was mentioned. Tori Spelling was on the show in the one episode where Blossom dreams she is a rockstar.

reply

You're a little bit mistaken about Tori Spelling. I saw her episode this morning, and she appears as an interviewee during Joey's fever dream in which he is host of The Tonight Show.

it was kinda funny seeing Scott Wolf in an episode of blossom - never knew that, just knew him from Party of Five. it was also funny seeing David DeLuise in an episode of blossom as well, never knew he was on blossom either. just seen him playing the father in Wizards of Waverly place. altho when he was on Blossom he wasnt convincing as being a teenager in high school, he still looked older but just trying to look younger with a hat on and bundled up and everything.

reply

Actually, Tori appeared in both those episodes.

reply

I just saw an episode with Talia Shire, playing herself. Unlike many of the others, she was already famous, having played Adrian in the first five Rocky films, and Connie Corleone in all three Godfather films.

Johnny Galecki played Blossom's boyfriend in the fifth episode of the series, and now they're working together on The Big Bang Theory. It also featured Desperate Housewives narrator Brenda Strong (who sometimes appears on-screen in flashbacks).

Joey also had encounters with Mr. T and Don Novello (as Saturday Night Live's Father Guido Sarducci).

There was also a scene with Little Richard teaching Blossom the proper way to sing "a-wop-bom-a-loo-mop-a-lomp-bom-bom!" from his song "Tutti Frutti."

And BB King, Phyllis Diller, a whole bunch of people on the Rockumentary episode, etc...

I just saw an episode with an unrecognizable Joely Fisher. ALF and Sonny Bono appeared as themselves in dream sequences on consecutive episodes. Blossom seems to have a lot of nightmares. I'm only ten epsidoes in, and the only nightmare I remember from its original run is the "Rockumentary" episode. Were her nightmares something the series was known for?

reply

Yes, the dream sequences were ideal for special guests to appear, so they happened quite often in the first 2 seasons. The creator of the show, Don Reo, said that he added the special guest spots (usually in dream sequences) mostly to meet people he admired, like Little Richard and BB King.

Back to guest celebs, Jane Leeves was in the season 1 finale as a woman Nick was interested in, two and a half years before Frasier started.

I just saw an episode called The Test and recognized Omar Gooding (Wild and Crazy Kids, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, brother of Cuba Jr.) as a test taker before he even spoke.
