funniest scenes?

it's so hard for me to single them out from my all time favorite or least favorite. they are that good.

here are mine

arnie asking how he got in the johnny cab and the johnny says "the door opened, you got in", followed by an eyeroll from the johnny.

arnie getting chased and running for his life and he tears the johnny cab out of the floor. i always laugh at "sh!t...sh!t" and the johnny cab saying "i am not familiar with that address." i love how he tosses the johnny robot in the back before taking control of the car.

arnie almost getting run over for skipping out on his fare of 18 credits.

the old bag trying to steal arnie's suitcase and cussing him out when he gets it from her, with him stopping from his running to take a bow

2 weeks!

benny's 5 kids line and him shooting kuato in the head and arnie looking over the dead kuato with benny saying "forget it man, his fortune telling days are over."

benny's death scene

This movie is FULL of hilarity. One of my personal favorites is When Quaid kills the four goons in 27 seconds (yes, I bothered to time it) and he kicks Harry's arm, and Harry lets out that ridiculous scream, followed by the ultimately hilarious karate chop Quaid delivers to one of the goons right in his mustache. If you pause right at the moment of contact, the guy has the best look of surprise.

When Quaid gets to Mars and the big shoot out knocks out a glass window, you hear a woman scream "my baby!" As people fly outside.

Ha ha I forgot about that part!

Funniest scenes for me is whenever Benny says, "I got fiiive kids to feed!"

"See you at the party, Richter!"

When Cohaagen looks at the bullet riddled body of Kuato and says (referring to his mutant ravaged looks) "No wonder he stays hidden".

The absolute funniest scene was Cohaagen's implosion. Check out the eye-popping cover of Fangoria from back in the day:

All of your replies are definitely some of the many funny lines and scenes of this film. But one particularly funny scene, not only because of what is said but because of the look on the characters faces, is when Quaid is being chased down into the subway and escapes. Richter and his partner return to the cab and he is telling his partner how he wants that F'er dead. His partner replies he can't blame him, because he wouldn't want a guy like Quaid porking his old lady, to which Richter asks him if she enjoyed it, and his partner smirks and sarcastically says "no I'm pretty sure she in hated every minute of it". Freaking hilarious.

Ricter was definitely the funniest but most pathetic character in the movie. He was supposed to be a bad-ass yet he literally failed at every task given to him. Not to mention that Quaid got to bang his hot girlfriend. And to top it off, he ends up losing his arms.

"See you at the party, Ricter!"

Any scene with Johnny Cab as the concept is hilarious to me! And the scene where Hauser/Quaid pulls the red sphere-bogie-tracker type thing out of his nose and says "Aiiiii!"

Hell yeah, Johnny Cab rocked!

"Fasten your seatbelts!"

When that lady called Quaid an @ZZ-hole for re stealing his stolen case, and then he bowed. that cracks me up like tree roots looking for water in the asphalt.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS MOVIE:
REKALL F@#$$D up the procedure, and now we are left with a possible reality that branched out from this mishap, and this version of Quaid's reality got made into an action movie. Little known fact: Quaid doesen't know that he is in a movie, he thinks it's all real.

It was funny how Richter thought he was running the show! Cohaagen's telling him to capture Quaid and set him back up with Laurie and he pretended he didn't hear him! Later Cohaagen asked him if he could work with him; Richter smiled and said "yes sir!" Cohaagen said something to the affect of "good or I'll cancel your arse!" That took the smile off Richter's face! ;-)

That part is actually a nod to Superman II, when Zod and company are blowing their tornado like breath through the city, and people are flying everywhere. You can hear a woman scream "my baby!!!".

I always found myself with a grin whenever Arnie used "bad" language...
