What happens if a female enter an all-male picture?

I always have this secret fantasy that I would be the only female in a group of castaways...

That would have created another dimension to the book, and would have made it all the more interesting. Sometimes I wish I could see the characters grow to adulthood on the island.

The 1990s version was shown on my country's free-to-air channel recently, and I became nostalgic on why I have a romance with boy/adventure themes. Other films/books which I like from then to date include 'The Goonies', 'Stand By Me' and more recently 'The Kite Runner'.

I remember it was always more fun to play and hang out with the boys. And I would betray the girls by revealing their juicy secrets to the boys, because that was a way they would let me in their group.

I think that rape and sexual slavery is what would happen, especially if the girl was in Jack's group.

Also, if the female was a woman in her 30's and the boys tried to kill her, she would die due to the kids having strength in numbers. The same thing would happen to a full-grown man as well.

As most have said here, the outcome would be rape and/or death for the female.

To any woman who responded to this: No, the woman wouldn't end up being some independent, mother-figure if she was old enough. Granted, if she was 70+, she'd probably just get killed off for not being worth anything. I think at first the female could try to fill the role of a mother to these boys, but over time would be stuck on an island with a bunch of curious, free boys who eventually find out they don't need someone older in control.

To any guy who thinks everyone on here portrays men as savages: Well it's true. Whether you're some guy trying to come off as being "above" this stereotype or a woman who has some "perfect" boyfriend, men thinks with their dicks. Unless they all decided to castrate themselves, there's no possibility of peace and harmony.

I'd like to treat a woman the right way and if I was one of those boys in that situation, I'd try to prolong my urges as much as possible. But at that age, I don't know how long I could keep curiosity at bay and if one of the other boys were more alpha than I, I may follow suit or give in to peer pressure depending on the situation.

We are primitive creatures at our core. Men still beat their chests and claim territory while wanting a nurturing woman by their side to stuff their wood into. Women want a "strong" man to keep them safe (whether that being figuratively or not). Pretty sure we'll die off as a race before we evolve to a point where this is not the case.

Based on the book all the kids were yearning for an adult to tell them what to do early on before they split into factions and half of them turned savage. They only turned savage because there was no authoritative guidance. So you put a female adult in there, especially one with a respectable profession who would know what she's doing, the boys should follow suit just because she's the elder with experience.

Interesting point of view you bring with this post,never really thought about it.
Until now!

It also depends on how this woman is in general,a shy person or really social.
Experienced or still a virgin,Age and experience are the two key words here.
Because if she is mentally very mature and has alot of life experience,then she could out-think and out-smart the boys.And become the queen and the boys her minions : P
