The Airplane tickets/boarding passes?

This may have been brought up before (probably a lot of things have, given the age of the movie). Anyway, wouldn't they notice at the airport that they had an extra ticket/boarding pass? Wouldn't their names be on the tickets, not to mention passports being checked?!? How did they not notice that Kevin wasn't there???  

The ticket got thrown away by the father when the drinks where spilt.
(Why they put them in the kitchen next to food and drinks is another question. The father also said he put them in the microwave to dry, but he clearly didn't count.

It ended up in the bin. It was one of those scenes that you could easily miss without noticing.

This is the screenshot of his boarding pass in the bin: https://img.buzzfeed.com/buzzfeed-static/static/2013-12/enhanced/webdr03/18/13/enhanced-buzz-25621-1387392608-0.jpg

Thanks, yes I must have missed it. Still what about the passport checking, they are very strict with that. Surely the kids (Kevin) wasn't holding his own passport?

Yeah I realise it's just a movie.

I don't know how you missed it, and i have seen in posts that Kevin's ticket I don't know if it was on purpose or an accident but either case it was thrown in a bin with the napkins that they used to clean up the spill pop and milk and anything else that spelled. But you would pretty much have to look carefully, so I don't know how you missed it. And plus I don't know if they had noticd they had thrown away Kevin's ticket or boarding pass, and even if he showed up there i don't know could a ticket agent would have been able to print out a new ticket?

What about the passport checking?

When Kevins mother asked that girl to count heads, she counted one of the kids across the street. They thought that was Kevin. They didn't care about the passports much it seemed!

Yes I remember the head counting at the house. I'm talking about the passport checking at the airport, you can't leave the country otherwise. Didn't Kevin's mother (or Father) notice they has a passport that didn't match with anyone?

I guess we'll have to leave it to 'it's just a movie'.

They don't check passports until you enter a foreign country not when you leave.

He doesn't know that it went in the bin and you posted this?

reply

The Airline boarding pass went in the bin, not the passport!

Yeah I posted this. What a dumb question.
