Strange, strange movie

Anyone else agree?

Tonally this was all over the place. I've read this described as a comedy but it wasnt that, it also wasnt exactly a thriller either. How did this get made and why did the two lead actors agree to do this, money sssshh, when there must surely have been better stuff on offer. Washington did end up firing his agent after the movie though.

The opening 10 minutes or so I thought were surreal. Also some of the dialogue was just laughable, the bit near the end were Hoskins and Washington basically tell each other to *beep* off. LOL. I dont think I've ever seen that in a movie before, bonkers.

The reason this was so bad though was basically because the script was so terrible, you cant polish a turd.

Lastly did anyone have a few chuckles at Hoskins American accent? He often slipped in and out of it, bless him.
