Has this ever been released on DVD anywhere?

Sadly, no. It's been released on professional looking DVDRs from some b-movie bootleg sites, but that's about it. VHS is the only "official" release. I've been dying for a company to come along and re-release it on official DVD (or Blu-ray) with a cleaned-up picture, but so far it hasn't happened. Maybe one day...

I'm waiting for a company like Vinegar Syndrome to get a hold of the rights and release it on bluray or 4k. It needs to be rescued from VHS obscurity. Until then I'll watch it on YouTube.
