sign in opening and closing credits

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any significance to the sign on the left of the screen during both the opening and closing credits of the film? The sign seems to have nothing to do with the film at all, but it's possible I've missed something, but I don't think I have. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. :)

I am not exactly sure what it has to do with the film, but it's a Bank sign, possibly for the defunct Colorado National Bank. At first I thought it was a sign for the stadium which the FBI had as a base, but the Stadium was named Cougar Stadium at the time.

I have wondered about this too. Not so much the significance but the location.

Only recently did I determine that this is the scaffold sign atop First Security Bank, most likely in Salt Lake City or possibly in Ogden, Utah.

The Ogden location is now a Wells Fargo Bank and it's sign has been changed to reflect that. At the Salt Lake location the sign has been removed entirely. If you do an image search you will find old photographs of both buildings with the original signs.
