I know nothing about the rules of racing, nascar etc but would Cole surely not have been banned for racing for delibritely crashing into the winner of the race during his victory lap?

he would been kicked out for a race by NASCAR but he did get fired by the owner which if hed been as good as he was when that happened he prolly wouldnt even of got fired now the rules have changed alot so prolly been dqed or something maybey banned from that track possibly idk

Actually if you read the trivia notes about this film...you'll see that the scene was based on an actual event....1987 Winston at CMS...the Famous "Pass in the grass" between Dale Earnhardt and Bill Elliott...Just before Dale won the race....Bill went through pit row to get new tires and collided with Dale after the race was over... and to show his fustration with Bill forcing him into the infield..his words were "Bill ran into Bodine and bout caused a big mess...then come up there and tried to spin me out twice....and I didn't take that"..

*You can’t block another driver from leaving the pits.

*You can’t begin to work on a race car in the pits until it’s all the way into its pit stall.

*You can’t leave tires at the edge of the pit stall, they have to be brought back to the wall right away.

*You have to maintain the pit road speed limit until you get to the white line painted on the ground immediately after the first pit stall.

*You can’t intentionally cause a wreck.
