Casting Darkman in different eras

Had this movie been made 30 years earlier, I think it would have had Vincent Price in the lead role.

However, if it had been made 10 years later, I think the casting agents would have picked Jim Carrey.

There seems to be elements from Dr. Phibes and The Mask in this character.

Personally, I like that it had Liam Neeson.
