Alternate opening scene!?

Does it really exist? I heard somewhere that it opens at the Barclays apartment, when the Play Pals employees collect the churned remains of Chucky. I know about the alternate ending where it goes back into the factory and shows new Good Guy doll face smiling evily, but that's it. Apparently, only a few UK rental VHS tapes had it and it was never on any of the US VHS rental tapes.
