This movie is GOOD!

There, Heisenberg said it first!
No need for the hate. I never read the novel, couldn't care less, I'm judging what I see on the screen.
I have to agree with Spielberg: it's a great black comedy, one of the best since Dr Strangelove.
Great satire, even if it's hamfisted and in your face, starting with the performances: Hanks is perfect as a man lost in the shitstorm; Griffith is plausible as the idiot slut who betrays everybody; Willis is simpatico as the narrator. The supporting cast is also tuned in with the sarcastic spirit of this mockery.
The script aptly manages to showcase these characters, their vices and their struggle.
I wish there were more movies made like this one. Fuck the critics!
