I saw an interview with this guy (Meaney) saying he refused to watch the Movie "Uncle Buck" because he didn't want John Candy's portrayal to influence his own.
What a buffoon Meaney must be. That's probably why the show didn't last. Geez.

Huh. That seems strange, but I guess he wanted to be unique. I wonder if he seen it by now.

I would hope so. John Candy had faith in Kevin Meaney, being that John sent Kevin a bottle of champagne and a note wishing him much success.

The show might not be funny but the intro is the funniest damn thing I ever seen.
