It's coming back this spring!!

But will it be just as funny as it was in the 90s? Guess we'll have to wait and see. I haven't seen a show with such raunchy humor since The Chappelle Show. Speaking of which, he wouldn't be a bad addition to the show.

reply

Like Chappelle would be available for this. The guy turned down tens of millions to get away from his own show.

But hell yeah, that's cool that they're bringing it back. I hope they listen to Wayans this time and he gets to do the show the way he wants, that guy knows comedy.

Because there's money that needs to be made. And the people that work at Fox in 2011 might not be the same people that ran it in the early 90's

reply

Yeah, that worked well.

reply

50 million .

reply

I doubt it will be funny. Twenty years ago we didn't have the PC police. A lot of sketches wouldn't cut it now.

Love to see how the show will turn out. ILC was the funniest ever show on TV. Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx! Gotta see this one.

reply

Yeah, i'm VERY interested to see ILC'c comeback. I really hope they won't ruin the show's legacy, i would like to see new and talented performers and future stars like Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey were at the time. But all in all i don't mind if David Alan Grier is back for instance. Interesting to see when we start getting news about the cast and show's new image etc. etc., this will be an interesting spring!

reply

When you think of the caliber of talent from the original show, with Jamie Foxx the Wayan brothers, Carrey and everyone else all so amazing. J.Lo wants to be on the show, I've read. She's not gonna want to be a flygirl, she's gonna want a bigger role in this!

reply

The thing is, the show was so rooted in that time period, it'd be like bringing back "Laugh-In" 20 years later. On top of that, getting another cast of unknowns with that much talent would be like having lightning strike twice. That said, I'll be happy if I'm proven wrong and they come out with a fresh, relevant show that lives up to the original.

reply

I'm a little happy and skeptical at the same time about this. I wish them the best of luck though on this.

I predict 6 episodes - 1 season long before it cancelled. Not trying to put the show down, it's just my opinion, and I may be wrong.

reply

Soooooo... What ever happened with this?

FAGET ABOUT IT

Keenan and Damon. Keenan refused to show the weekend they were set to tape. DAG flew from NY and when he was told on set that the show wasnt going to happen he apparently said, "just like the old days"
