In a teaser for their upcoming 90210MG iHeartRadio podcast, the stars discussed the recent allegation made by Alba, who recently said she "couldn’t even make eye contact with any of the cast members" when she appeared on the drama in two episodes in 1998. "Tori, did you — I just need to know, did you tell her not to look me in the eye?" asked Garth. "Why's it all about you?" Spelling asked with a laugh. Last week on the Hot Ones YouTube series, Alba said: “On the set of 90210, I couldn’t even make eye contact with any of the cast members, which was really strange when you’re, like, trying to do a scene with them. Yeah, it was like, ‘You’re not allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members or you’ll be thrown off the set.'” ALSO: Spelling says she's upset by the allegation because she wipes "my child's a**" with Alba's Honest Company baby wipes. https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/tori-spelling-jennie-garth-react-to-jessica-albas-90210-claim/

Yes, because no guest star on any show would have ever been instructed not to bother the main cast unnecessarily, would they?

Alba is clearly exaggerating for the sake of a story. Who would really care either way is anyone's guess.

233. ENTERTAINMENT LAWYER 10/23 **3**

This A- list actress (Jessica Alba) who got her start being ogled by the permanent A++ list director (James Cameron) for a television show ("Dark Angel") he did, is taking a lot of flack for her story about an early on set ("Beverly Hills, 90210") experience and being called a liar. That cast (Christine Elise, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green) was so into themselves and ego driven and believed they were all A++++++ listers, they did all kinds of mean stuff to extras and small time actors and actresses. Not looking them in the eye was the least of the bad stuff they did. Did you just “entertainment lawyer” me TMZ?

That is so awesome. I feel rather special now. Day made.

Did you just refer to me as "TMZ", since you want to be cute with my username being close to that!?

No flies on you, gossip guy 👍

Well, why should we believe Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling before we should believe Jessica Alba? Why exactly is she exaggerating? You make it sound like you have first hand knowledge of such a thing happening (or in this case, not happening).

No not at all, just a hunch. I will admit I have a fair bit of time for Garth and Spelling, especially after spearheading the recent, criminally underrated reunion show. I think they are down to earth and self aware and more talented than they would ever get credit for.

Also, I didn’t suggest Alba was lying as such, just that she’s making what was probably a common experience for guest stars on that show a far bigger deal than it should be. Why haven’t we heard similar stories from Hillary Swank, for instance? Forgive me for thinking it smacks of an actress who never really made it as big as her hype predicted being salty about a show she was on way back when.

I could be wrong, but I maintain that it’s of little relevance today when neither 90210 or Alba are exactly hot trending topics.
