Tango & Expendables

I feel like maybe there was a lost potential to make Tango & Cash sequel with the story of the Expendables film, basically Tango & Expendables, and then the next sequel Tango & (something or someone else), only with the comedic style of this film. Expendables was taking itself too seriously when it really did not contain that much to emotionally invest ourselves in. Tango and Cash got it right, imo, it had a style of some Gene Wilder/Pryor films, there was no need for greater drama.
