What would you rather be deaf or blind?

I don't see how anyone could choose blind over deaf. At least when deaf you don't have much, if any, extra trouble getting around.

Apparently insurance pays out about three times as much for blindness as deafness. Blindness is a lot harder to cope with, obviously.
