Does anybody know why Hope Marie Carlton left the Andy Sidaris series?

SAVAGE BEACH makes the third and last time Playboy Playmate Hope Marie Carlton was teamed up with Playboy Playmate Dona Speir after HARD TICKET TO HAWAII & PICASSO TRIGGER. After that Ms. Carlton was replaced by another Playboy Playmate Roberta Vasquez who played the villainess in PICASSO TRIGGER. I heard thru other sources that there was a certain disagreement between Ms. Carlton and Mr. Sidaris that resulted in her leaving the film series. Is there any truth in this or was there another reason for Ms. Carlton leaving the series after SAVAGE BEACH?

The commentary on the Girls, Guns and G-Strings DVD boxed set of the collected works of that genius, Andy (and his son, Christian), Sidaris make it clear that Hope wanted to move on, and that Roberta’s body was a better fit for the formula. Many fans mourned the loss of Hope’s perky personality.

Ok cool thanks! Yeah I'm watching through all of them now. Just finished Do Or Die. There's definitely something charming about the quirky relationship between Hope and Dona that's missing after her departure from the series.

I understand and agree. Hope was charming and delightful. Roberta Vasquez was a professional bodyguard and is built like the proverbial brick shithouse. It was a good exchange all around.
